Bigshot Club - Blossom Party Hat & Bag Class....

Hello Everyone,

Finally the Sun is out!  We have been busy at the allotment laying more slabs around our shed, or Pavillon as it is known!  Its painted in Marina Mist paint, so it does stick out abit hee hee.

My hubbies onions seem to have survived the cold weather, so the stories of him worrying about his onions have finally stopped Phew!

We had great fun the night before I went on holiday making these matching Gift Sets.  We used quite a few Bigshot dies for this project, but we did some recycling as well, which is always good.

I chose four colour combinations, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, So Saffron and Pretty in Pink.  All the designer papers are in the subtles pack.

This is the Pretty in Pink Version.

The Hats are made from recycling tubs.

The Blossom Party die was used for the flowers.

The Gift Hat is pretty on the inside as well.

Fill with either minature Chocolate, Mints, Jewellery etc.

Jenny:-)xx

Bloomin' Buds Craft Weekend....

Morning Everyone,

Just a quick visit today as its my morning off...

Just before Easter, I spent the most wonderful weekend again with 11 of my Team.  A couple of New Girls Debi and Karen.  We hire a Scout Hall, to craft from Friday Morning to Sunday Lunch.  We sleep over as well, it really is great fun.

Three ladies helped me this time set up, Maria and Jill came all the way from Lancashire.

This is Debi, who is such a talented crafter and a great help to all of us.

I made these little table gifts and a gift bag to hold their stamp set for the extra projects I made for them to make.

The papers are the Floral District ones.

I always take my display with me for some inspiration although all my Team get all my Class Instructions for FREE anyway, but its better to see them in real life.

We all designed a Baggie bag using different stamp sets.
So one of the extra projects was this very useful storage box to store the baggie bags ready to hand.

Pleasant Poppies....

Afternoon,

The Sun is out here!  Well for a bit anyway.

Thought I would share with you some Pleasant Poppies cards we did in Stamp class recently.

We used Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Marina Mist, Old Olive and Basic Black.

On this one we use the pumpkin pie inkpad with the blender pen first and then went over sections with the tangerine tango inkpad.

All the sentiments are all from the Bloomin with Kindness stamp set.

I stamped the base card with the distressed dots in Real Red first and then added the polka dot paper layer and borders from the scallop ribbon punch.

We stamped the poppies on a piece of 12.5cm x 5.5cm or 4 7/8" x 2 1/4" and stamped them again to layer them up.  This time we used the markers read red and basic black to colour them in.

We used marina mist for the colour on this one, we stamped on a layer of 9.5cm x 13.8cm
or 3 3/4" x 5" whisper white and then again to pop up three of the poppies.
The sentiment was stamped in versamark and embossed with black embossing powder on some vellum cardstock.

The spotlight technique was used for this simple card.  The poppies were stamped a couple of times on a 14.3cm x 7cm or 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" piece of tangerine tango and coloured in with the marker pens, tangerine tango and old olive.

The poppies were stamped again on whisper white and punched out using the 1 3/4" circle punch, this time the trio was coloured in with the blender pen and the pumpkin pie ink pad.

March was a busy month for crafting!  How Lovely.....

These are the three projects my ladies made during SAB Extravaganza's at Broadstone and Yeovil.

Everyone gets a FREE stamp set when you come to my extravaganza's.  This time it was Papillon Potpourri, which is super as it has two matching punches the elegant butterfly in the main catalogue and the bitty butterfly punch in the spring seasonal catalogue.

We made a very useful Memo Board...

A Fancy Fold Card & Matching Gift Tub.

Plus a Set of Cards using the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and the Flowering Flourishes Stamp Set, all the sentiments are the teeny tiny wishes.

Lattice Die Cards & Gift Box.....

Morning Everyone,

Before Easter we made a couple of Extra large Birthday cards with the Lattice Bigz die.

The colour combination is Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder and Baja Breeze.

The flowers are the flower fusion sizzlit and the tiny flowers are the itty bitty punch.

These are the large cards, which is a whole A4 sheet folded in half.

The first card has two strips of designer paper 20.5cm x 2.5cm down each side.  Cut two lattice in whisper white down the centre and a folded doilie.  The centre images are from the Memorable Moments stamp set.  The leaves under the flower fusion flowers are punched from the bird punch in wild wasabi.  Pearls finished off the flowers.

The second card has a 20.5cm x 14.3cm wisteria wonder layer, then 20cm x 13.8cm wisteria wonder paper and the centre piece is 13.8cm x 7cm elegant eggplant.  Wrap around the middle layers some white organza ribbon and tie a bow.
Cut two lattice in whisper white and they were glued together at two corners and glue to the card with the corners pointing up and down.

The centre is the same as the previous card all the layers were popped up with 3d foam pads cut out using the label framelits.

This a smaller version a normal sized card, with a few less layers for the centre.  The base is wisteria wonder and the emboss white layer is 10cm x 14.3cm embossing with the delicate dots embossing folder.  The lattices were cut in elegant eggplant and glue together to shorten them to fit.

The gift box is the fancy favour die.

A white lattice was added with 3d foam pads to the back and front.
This time the sentiment and was stamped on wisteria wonder and then cut out with the label framelit.

Morning Everyone,

These are what we made at the Bigshot club last month,

We used the All Dressed up Bundle, which includes the stamp set and matching framelits, both available seperately.

The papers are the Print Poetry paper very good value and comes in the size of the front of a card, very useful.

I used the elegant lines embossing folder for this Wedding Card.

This is the front of the 3D Cards with the pop up dress form inside,
You will need the card base and pop up dress form dies to do this.

Love Cardie's....
