Candy Wrapper for Halloween......

Morning All,

I can hardly think this morning, Firstly those Ladies had me laughing so much last night - LOVE Them All. Secondly the Heathland behind out house is being cleared of some trees and other small bushes, they are using a machine to break it all down and it is making my Craft Room Vibrate!!!! I think its to clear some space for the Dexters who are moving in!!!! These are Cows who are going to be living on the Heath during Winter - Not sure what Sid will make of them as we are still allowed to walk amongst them. They are small cows and they seem to have woolly coats, hope it snows this Winter as the photo's of the heath last year was amazing.

I made the Girlies a little Halloween Treat last night using the Candy Wrapper. I used the Frightful Sight papers, Cajun Craze cardstock and the stamp set is the Button Buddies one.

The little tag is from the Tiny Tag stamp set.

Hope you have a nice weekend,
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Bigshot Club - Candy Wrappers....

Bigshot club is early this month as its half term next week and we are off. This month we will be using the Candy Wrapper Bigshot die. It is so cute!

It takes a bit of practise folding it together the first couple of times but you will soon be flying through them in no time at all.

I decided to use the Holly Berry Speciality papers for these projects. They are luxurious with 4 sheets have embossed patterns which glitters in the light. The colours are chocolate chip, real red, and wild wasabi.

The projects include a gift box of six candy wrappers, lovely to take to someone while visiting or staying with over christmas. An extended candy wrapper, an octagonal gift box and a fun Pull a Cracker!

The striped and the dottie ones are the embossed sheets in the holly berry papers.

You can also decorate with the wheels as the jumbo ones fit in the middle section perfectly.

The sentiment tag is from the beautiful season stamp set.

Thanks for looking:-)

Delicate Doilies Stamp Class...

I had to dig out the heaters this morning as it was a bit chilly! We used the Delicate Doilies stamp set and the Triple Layer Doily Punch this morning. I do think the punch had jumping beans in it as it was jumping all over the place, including on the floor!!!! We do have a laugh, don't know what my poor neighbours think we get up to on a Tuesday Morning and Wednesday Evening......:-)

Well actually one neighbour who took in a parcel for me last week said her husband thought we all watched football matches on the TV every Wednesday Evening!!!! Don't think so....hee hee

I used Pool Party (I keep typing POOLE Party!) and Wisteria Wonder for the colour combination and the sentiments are from the Curly Cute stamp set.

The scallop circles are from the Scallop circle and the Pennant Builder Bigshot dies.

The Scallop box holds about 6 cards. I am so pleased we have these mini white envelopes in the New Stampin' UP! catalogue they fit perfect. I didn't add any sentiments so I could use them for allsorts.

Thanks for all the lovely comments for the Card Chest in the Previous Post, I really enjoyed making it with those lovely papers.

We have a downline Meeting on Thursday.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Mocha Morning.......Card Chest.

Hello Everyone...

Have you had a chance to TOUCH the New Mocha Morning Speciality Papers yet? Well....I have finished stroking the gorgeous flocked sheets and decided to make one of my Card Chests. I had to make sure the sheets were going to good use before they went any where NEAR the Cutter!!

Last February for the Sale a Bration Extravaganza, I made a Card Organiser using the Funky Four Stamp set and Playdate papers. You can see the link for those instructions on the right hand side. If you have purchased those, then you will already have the instructions to make one of these Chests, just swap the papers and cardstock over and you are done....

If not I have done a complete New set of Instructions for this Chest using the Mocha Morning papers and Cards. You can get them on the right if you don't already have the instructions for my Funky Four one.

The Chest is really Sturdy with all the layers of cardstock and papers etc. I did use a Magnetic closure under the front layer which is NOT Stampin' up!, but to be honest it closes just fine with out it.
The inside has 3 Compartments one large one for cards and envelopes and two front sections for 3" x 3". These instructions are in inches, but the Chest fits both Cards and Stampin UP! Envelopes for Metric and Inches. The front sections fit the 3" x 3" cards and the Stampin' Up Mini Envelopes.

Thanks for Looking,
Jenny:-)xx

A La Carte....

Hello Everyone,

A very Quick card for you today using one of the many A la Carte stamps. The Bird is called Young Vermillion and I stamped him on one of the new Designer Frames. The Designer Frames come as a set of two and the other one is an oval on page 124. I embossed it using the bigshot and then cut around the outside.

The sentiment is one of the Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I used Soft Suede, Pool Party and Very vanilla for the colour combination.

Right I must hide the Pool Party inkpad, card and ribbon as it keeps falling into my hands!!!

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Forever Young Stamp Class....

Another Week Already!!!

We will be using the Forever Young Stamp set tomorrow. I went with Black, Cherry cobbler, Island Indigo and some River Rock for the colour combination, as I used the new Timeless Portrait designer papers.

There is matching fabric to go with the papers and stamp set, I only have one pack and I haven't finished stroking it yet, to cut it up!

I was so pleased that we still have the small Onboard journals and the papers are great to cover them. You only need one 12 x 12 to cover these journals and for this one, I used a closure for a different look.

Must get on as its Card Buffet Night tonight.

Thanks for looking,

Jenny:-)xx

French Foliage.....

Happy Saturday!

I just thought I would quickly pop on and show you the rest of my French Foliage bits and bobs. I did get a bit carried away! It's such a great stamp set and I did some sponging to warm them all up! The colours are Soft Suede, More Mustard and Pool Party. I was telling the Ladies yesterday and Ken! that I had to hide the Pool Party ink pad and cardstock, as I was adding it to EVERYTHING that was still enough! hee hee The other thing that was hidden was the Pennant Bigz die and those circles are just so addictive!!!
I used some old chipboard rings which I covered to make the circle and then various of sizes of the pleated flowers. Heather has a video here on a MUCH easier way of making these pleated flowers.

The sentiment on here is from the Petite Pairs stamp set. It fits perfectly in the oval.
The leaves are rocked and rolled in the more mustard and soft suede which makes a great background. The word background was stamped in crumb cake.

This is a little book mark card.

See you can take out the bookmark to use....

Right then, Ironing Pile here I come. It keeps trying to attack my hubbie when he opens his cupboard! No hiding place big enough this time hee hee.

Thanks for looking,

Jenny:-)

French Foliage....

Cor! Wasn't it windy last night - Not that we could hear much as we were laughing so much during Class last night. What a lovely lovely bunch of ladies I have the honour to craft with - Thanks to all my Ladies & Ken!

I was so pleased to notice that we now stock Square Envelopes in both 14cm x 14cm and small 7.9cm x 7.9cm. I used to make Square cards all the time and found it hard to find the envelopes, but now they are in the New Stampin' Up Catalogue.

The Stamp set is French Foliage and the colours are Soft Suede, More Mustard, Pool Party and Crumb cake.

The brad in the centre of the butterflies which were cut with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and Big Shot is an Antique Brad. There are 20 of them in the tub and they are just gorgeous.

This is a little sneak peek of some pleated circles, that I have made for my Launch Party tomorrow.

It's an exciting week next week.

The whole of Stampin' UP! will be having a Workshop Book a Thon next Tuesday 11th October. We have 24hrs to book as many Workshops in the UK, Germany, France, USA etc, so if you are interested in holding a Fun Workshop let your LOCAL Demonstrator Know. It's wonderful to think that the WHOLE of Stampin' UP! will be doing the same thing all on the same day.......Small World Really!

Thanks for looking,

Precious Butterflies....

I can't resist a stamp set which has swirls and butterflies in it. This is a Hostess Set that you can spend your Hostess pounds on. I used two more In Colours Island Indigo and Pool Party with a hint of Crumb Cake. I love the ball of butterflies being blown off the swirl and I used the colour sprizter tool with the crumb cake marker pen all over the top note layer . I will show you the rest of the set which go with this card after my launch party which is on Friday.

The inside.

If you fancy coming to a class one Tuesday Morning or Wednesday Evening drop me an email. I have a couple of rare spaces, first come first serve.

Thanks for looking:-)

Everything Eleanor....

You will definately be seeing more of this lovely Stamp Set called Everything Eleanor. It has lots of different elements in it but I LOVE the frame. It stamps patchy which looks very similar to the square lattice folder, which I used here on the very vanilla layer.

The colour combination is Soft Suede, Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla. I used the lacy border punch to border the centre layers, which was punched and then cut down the middle to go on the top and bottom of the embossed layer.

The background was stamped with the same flower as the two on the front.

The set has a large swirl which I used on the inside of the card. The sentiments are from Petite Pairs, which is a Sentiment stamp set with one for the outside and then one for the inside of the card. We have tons of sentiments in the new catalogue, which is fantastic.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Pennant Parade....

Morning Everyone,

Hope you have all been enjoying this gorgeous weather we have been having lately.

We will be using the New Stamp Set called Pennant Parade Tomorrow. This is such a versatile Stamp set. It is a set of 13 stamps! The best part though, it has a matching Punch called the Petite Pennants Builder....Yippee! Stampin' UP thinks of everything.

I used the Just Add Cake designer paper pack with Poppy Parade and Wild Wasabi for the colour combination.
I am busy making samples for my Open House on Friday.

Email me if you would like to pop along.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx
