Bigshot Club - Perfect Pennants

It's that time of Month again for my Bigshot Club. September seems to have flown by. Hasn't the weather been amazing, Poor Sid has lots of hair at the moment and he needs stripping but its not quite ready.

Only a couple of more sleeps until the New Catalogue goes LIVE!!! One of the New Bigshot Dies is called Perfect Pennants. It is a Bigz one, that has so many possibilities, but for now these are what I came up with. Keeping with the Christmas Theme of this week's stamp class, I decided to use the same colour combination to bring everything together.

I made a Merry Christmas Banner and this Storage/Gift Box for the Banner to go inside.
I used the Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots ribbon across the top, which is such a lovely ribbon. It's plain on the other side and has tiny holes in each scallop.

All the letters are from the Timeless Alphabet which has Upper and Lower case Letter, plus numbers and hearts, a button, punctuation characters etc

The stamp sets I used are perfect punches, heard from the heart and the sparkling wheel.

Hope you have a good day,

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Season Of Joy Stamp Class....

Hello Everyone.

It's back to Christmas next week! We will be using the Season of Joy Stamp Set it has been a firm favourite of mine to make my Christmas Cards each year. Luckily it will be in the next Catalogue as well, which is Fantastic.

The cards in this Stamp class are so quick and easy that you can make a stack of them without too many layers and ideal for posting, yet still special.

Rhinestones are perfect for the sparkling needed for Christmas time.

Included in the Stamp Class is this 3D Advent Calendar. I really enjoyed making this. I watched the whole of Downton Abbey while putting the little boxes together.

There's 25 boxes to fill with chocolates or funny jokes, little christmas sayings etc. My eldest has decided that the Advent Calendar is NOW His!!!! He will be 17 just before Christmas Bless him, never too young for Christmas!

The numbers and letters were cut using the Bigshot and the Stampin' Up Timeless Alphabet. The alphabet was a huge purchase for me, but I have had my moneys worth out of it so many times and with the NEW Hostess Benefits, available with the New Catalogue it will make it easier for someone to get this wonderful alphabet for HALF PRICE.

Email me if you want to join in one of my Stamp Clubs which makes life so much easier spreading your purchases over a number of months and being able to receive the Hostess Benefits as well.

Greenhouse Garden No.3 Stamp Class........

Hello Everyone.

This is the third Stamp Class using this very popular Greenhouse Garden Stamp Set. The ladies had requested a Large Card for Special Birthdays, so I made a couple of versions. There was plenty of cutting and punching out today.

The colour combinations are Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy and Pear Pizzazz or Rose Red, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz.

This is the smaller version of the larger card.

These are all normal sized cards. I do love the two step stamping stamp sets from Stampin' Up! I find them very relaxing.

Only 10 more days for the Last Chance List.

Jack of All Trades......

Hello Everyone...

Sorry its been a couple of days since posting last. On Thursday I had my downline meeting which was a wonderful day. My cheeks had only just recovered from the last time I saw my lovely ladies and what with Val making us all laugh so much with a very unusual demo of the colour spritzer, my cheeks were soon hurting again!!

Then yesterday I had a date with my hubbie to the Goodwood Revivial Show to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary which is actually today. We were in traffic for ages getting there and had to leave early to get back home for my Boys but we did see some wonderful old cars. Even more impressive were the people who had dressed up for the Revival Day, I really wanted to take photo's of them but it was so very busy there. We saw a display of Spitfire airplanes which were amazing, they fly so close to eachother.

Today we went to the Feast of Dorset Festival in Wimborne, its on tomorrow as well.

Anyway we have been growning a new version of Winter Squashes this year, called Turk's Turban. They look so weird but so colourful. Can't wait to see what they look like inside!

We have a little collection going on....

If you are a Demonstrator you are allowed to preorder a few items from the New Catalogue before 1st October and I ordered this Stamp Set called A Jack of All Trades plus some co-ordinating papers called Frightful Sight! It's a fun stamp set and would be great for some scrapbook pages for Halloween.

I decided to make some Thank You cards though and a little basket for some chocolate pumpkins which will be in the shops soon.

The pumpkin is stamped in Tangerine Tango.

I used the Just Believe image to go with this next pumpkin, which I popped up with 3D foam pads.

This is the basket with the pleated rosette on the front. These papers all co-ordinate with Cajun Craze, Cherry Chobbler, Old Olive and Black. I used the eyelet border punch for the handle of the basket.
Hope you all have a great weekend,

Razzle Dazzle......

Revisiting Razzle Dazzle today. The Lychett Lovelies are making some of these on the 26th, but this set is on the Retiring List. I must admit I totally overlooked this stamp set for ages. What a Fool! I really enjoyed making these cards when I did finally ink the stamps up. The stamp set has co-ordination papers the Blueberry Crisp, which goes with Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist and Sahara Sand.

For these cards though I used Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand. The papers are from the Paper Stacks.
All the sentiments are from Perfect Punches stamp set which is NOT retiring - Fantastic.
The base is Marina Mist and the papers here are the blueberry crisp. The Marina Mist satin ribbon is retiring! OH!
Mostly Sahara Sand on this one.

This was a gift set for a Workshop Hostess.
Hope you have enjoyed these cards.

Dasher....

Oh Dear! The Spiral Punch has GONE!!!! Hope you managed to get one?

This is a very quick and simple Christmas Card using the Medallion Background, Dasher and the sentiment is from Four the Holidays. I used River Rock, Bravo Burgundy and Soft Suede for the colour combination.

The river rock layer of 10cm x 7.4cm was embossed with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder.

The middle layers are very vanilla 10cm x 7cm, river rock 10.5cm x 7.5cm and bravo burgundy 11cm x 8cm.

Dazzling diamonds was added under Dasher's feet, it doesn't really show up here - Except on my carpet in the Craft Room and all over Mary!!!! hee hee.

Spiral Punch.....

We are Straight into Autumn aren't we? My boys conned me into a lift in the car to do the paper round this morning, Funny how our Holiday in Cornwall seems ages ago and yet only one week....

I have covered so many of the On Board Journals this year using the Spiral Punch to completely cover the front and inside covers as it matched the spirals perfectly.

These were some of the journals, I made as presents for my Craft Buddies last Christmas using the Sweet & Sour Speciality papers. The papers all retire every year, I have used these so much as one side of each 12 x 12 sheet has a glossy embossed section.

The stamp set is the Notably Ornate Stamp set. The tiny square frames are from the Hodge Podge kit, which is also on the retirement list.

You can see the glossy section here on the matching cards.

Butterfly Prints.....

The weather has turned out better than first thing this morning. I've been making a few more things for the Card Buffet Tomorrow and this is some of them.

The stamp set is Butterfly Prints in Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.

The Bracelet is made from the Designer buttons, in Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight as we don't have any in Melon Mambo. You can watch the video of Jill making a button bracelet here.
Right then, sorry for quick post but off to allotment now to make some raised beds.

Thanks for looking,

Baby Blossoms Stamp Set.....

I have really enjoyed using this lovely stamp set Baby Blossoms. It is retiring. It has 18 stamps in the set! The centre of the cards shows the dottie frame that comes in the set and the best part is the centre is die cut as well, so you can use this as a shadow stamp so don't throw it away!

The sprintime vintage suite is so feminine with the pastel colours and the seam binding ribbon is really soft.

The sentiment is from the Occasional Greetings stamp set which has been a Super set over the last couple of year. Don't worry we have tons of New Sentiments in the New Catalogue available 1st October. I used Rose Red, blushing bride and Old Olive for the colour combination.

You can see the shadow stamp in the centre better in this card. I cut out the oval in the frame and popped it up with 3D foam pads.

The Cheese Festival didn't disappoint. We could actually get to the stalls this year, as we went first thing, it really does get busy. Next Week its the Festival of Food in Wimborne at Deans Court. They have lots of cooking demonstrations to watch with a few celebrity chefs. They have lots of craft stalls and FOOD!

Also its our Wedding Anniversary and we are having a Date to the GoodWood Vintage Car Show, so a very busy week next week.

We have just been shopping up the allotment and MY! OH MY! We have Parsnips a foot long! It's the first year of growing these and we are so amazed, its really like digging up Treasure. The very funny thing happened to us the other evening. We were walking to the Allotment and walking Sid, when a little old man pulled up along side us on his push bike and asked if we wanted some Courgettes!!!!! How lovely. We said we were just going to collect our own but thanked him. See Allotmentors and Crafters are such Lovely people, who enjoy sharing.....

their Passion.

Bella Toile Stamp Class....

I was really sad to see this Bella Toile Background stamp on the retired list. It will be on my shelf for good long while yet I think! It's really lovely coloured in or left plain like I have done for the Class next Tuesday.

Just Black and Vanilla cardstock, very elegant. We will be using the Four Frames and Oval All stamp sets as well, these are not retiring, I was so pleased about that.

I made a very large box for the cards to go inside as well as their envelopes but this box is a fair size and would fit some bottles of smellies etc.
I topped the box off with some 1 1/4" black stripped ribbon just like the sort if you were lucky enough to earn the free gift from Stampin' Up Last Month.

We are looking forward to going to a Cheese Festival in Sturminster Newton tomorrow. It is on both days and its only £4 to enter. They normally have lots of large tents with all the sellers in and lots of outside stalls and eateries.

Last year we took Sid but it was a bit of a nightmare as HE DOES LOVE THE CHEESE!!!!! So this time he will be staying home bless him.

Don't forget to email me if you need anything off the Retired List as things are disappearing very quickly.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Big Bold Birthday.....

Good Morning All.

I thought I would show you a Stamp Set that is a real bargain on the Last Chance List. It's called Big Bold Birthday it has a massive 40% off. It has 13 stamps in the set, so at £16.17 its one not to miss out on.

I remember way back a couple of years ago when I got this Stamp Set, I was so eager to stamp with it straight away that I inked up the cupcake base only to realise that there wasn't any rubber on it. This was when we had to cut out our own rubber before Stampin' UP! sold the sets already cut out for you. I had to empty the whole wheelie Bin to find the rubber part that I had thrown away!!! hee hee Crazy Lady.

The paper on these cards are the Nursery Suite Speciality pack and the Nursery Suite Accent stickers. The colours are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Pear Pizzazz.
Lots of Bling going on these girlie Birthday Cards. The papers are the same Nursery Suite pack and the cup cake top was stamped on the back of the Die cut paper as on the back it is covered with tiny tiny polka dots. The colours are Regal rose, Chocolate Chip and pink piroutte for the stamped flowers.

Hope you all have a good day. I seem to have a pile of ironing again, Must find out where that fairy has disappeared too! My Lovely Mum did some ironing for me while we were on holiday, so I want to keep up with it - Dreaming!

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)

Saying GoodBye....

Card Buffet Club starts back On Monday Evening and we will be using products that will be retiring 30th September. It's so sad to see things disappear but that does leave lots of room for New Products come 1st October.

This card uses the Silhouette Sentiments Level 1 Hostess Stamp Set which you can earn FREE simply by hosting a Qualifying Workshop. Speak to your local Stampin' Up Demonstrator before its gone forever....

I've used Concord Crush for the base card,Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz for the rest. The sentiment fits perfectly in the tiny tag punch.

I've used the same products mixed with some concord crush designer paper. All these In Colours will stay for another year but the stamp set is only available to choose while stocks last, So check on the Retired List on the left hand side for an updated list.

This card uses the Fast & Fabulous Level 2 Stamp Set. It's a lovely two step stamp set great for watercolouring. I've used Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake and Peach Parfait for the colour combination. Joining a Stampers 6 or Stampers 10 Club really helps as you are spreading the cost and getting a little bit of Stampin up each month. Ask your local Demonstrator if she has any room in one....My New Clubs start 1st October and I have a few places left in both types.

As well as Stamp Sets retiring all the paper packs except the paper stacks are retiring ready for new ones. I loved using the Greenhouse Gala ones, it co-ordinates with Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie & Baja Breeze, so lots of colour combinations to choose from. It's only the paper that's retiring on this card but it co-ordinates with the Ornate Flowers Stamp Set. The middle section is from the Just Believe stamp set.

Same for this Card and Box idea, its only the paper that's retiring but its also the greenhouse gala paper pack. The sentiment on the box is the Basic Phrases Stamp Set, I will really miss this Stamp Set.

Thanks for Looking,

Jenny:-)xx

Stampin' UP! Catalogue Sneak Peeks.....

Hello Everyone.

Phew! I got to stamp today! What's even better some of my pre-order arrived yesterday, so I ripped open the box to find a stack of lovely Nice Catalogues. Do you want one? Email me if you do or pay via paypal with the button on the left.

I took my nice catalogue to bed last night for some bed time reading, but I only managed to get to look at a few pages as I feel asleep. It probably caught up with me being up to 4am chatting with my very dear downline Maria on Saturday evening.

We were allowed to pre-order from a very long list this year. The first Stamp Set I mounted was this one Delicate Doilies and Do you see the pretty border its a new lace punch.

There is lovely co-ordinating papers to match them both as well as lots of more accessories.

The cards have one of the New In colours which is called Wisteria Wonder. I used Elegant Eggplant and Whisper white.

The box has a bar of delish chocolate inside!

The sentiment is from Curly Cute.

The rhinestone fit perfectly in the punched out sections and the stamped image.

Thanks for looking.
