Back from Germany...........

Last Chance List Here........
Hello Everyone......

We have just got back from our Summer Holiday. We went to the Eifel Region of Germany. Wow! We loved it. What a lovely countryside. The scenery was amazing and the such wonderful people. We went to the Mosel Valley most of the time. One of the places we visited was called Cochem. We went on a chair lift up the side of the Mountain, so to speak. The first chair was a wooden seat, I was holding onto my son - not really to hold him in his seat, but so I wouldn't fall out!!!! hee hee OH! MUM! He kept saying......My other son was laughing.

Well he wasn't laughing on the way down! He was in the little wooden seat and We were in the other seat that had a Hood! Good Times......

We saved hard last year to have a longer holiday and it was so worth it.....We all really needed the break. Sid now has 4 stamps in his passport! Bless him, he was as good as gold again. We did leave him a couple of times but most of the time he joined us with everything we did. He saw alot of other dogs to say Hello to as well!

Well, Washing all done, on the line! Ironing tomorrow :-( at least I had an empty basket for a few weeks!

Back to Work now......

My Stamp Classes start again next Week. I have MISSED all my ladies so much. My boys aren't back to school until Monday......Lots to do.

The first class is A Flower for all Seasons..... or A Tree for all Seasons its up to you. Its a lovely relaxing class, fall off colouring in! Who doesn't like a bit of colouring in........?

The class is for 4 square cards and a Gift Folder, which opens up like a book.

These are the Flower for all Season Set.

These are the Tree for all Seasons set.

You can do the Stamp Class as well, if you want......The instructions are on the right. Both Centimetres and Inches as usual are included in the class.

Thank you to everyone who purchased my classes while I was away. The normal turn around is back to 24hrs from now. Please do email me if they don't turn up within the 24hrs though, Emails do go missing, so just drop me a line and I will get straight on to it for you.

I thought I would show you a few Holiday snaps. We went to Burg Eltz. Cor! it was amazing. It was a Castle which was a home to three different families. Only one family owns it now and they live in Frankfurt. The walk down and back up again was very hard going, but so worth it. The only way to look around the Castle was by a guided tour. We felt so lucky as our Tour spoke perfect english and he really brought the Castle to live. We sure do Love our Castles.....

What an entrance! My eldest kept taking a rest on the wall, my heart was in my mouth each time as the drop the other side was huge! It was another OH! MUM! moment.........I'll give him OH! Mum! Get off that wall - Little Monkey. They were doing some repairs, thats why the crane was there.

What a garden! The trees were beautiful in the Mosel Valley. It really felt like Vermont.

This is the Courtyard of the Castle. It must have been a really interesting time, three families living under one roof. They all had there own sections, kitchens etc but even so, it must have been interesting.

This is my Eldest - Little Monkey sitting on that wall! Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth look!

This is my Youngest! Dressed for Winter! Boys.......Bless them. He couldn't wait to get in the door when we got home. He has been waiting for his Exam results. He is now the proud owner of a GCSE - A Star in ICT. He's only just 14. He really does put the work in and he really deserves it. So Proud:-)

You can see he realises the drop on the other side of the wall! Hence the Pose.

Oh! Well Better go and find my bed........Beds on holiday were so soft, so looking forward to my bed tonight.

Check back later, I hope to have the Retired List for you Tomorrow Morning.

So Exciting......

Thanks for looking,

Jenny:-)xx

Pocket Silhouettes Thank You's.......

Morning,

I forgot to show this Month's Thank You Cards for my customers. I used the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set. The sentiments in that set are so dainty and fit perfectly in the Word Window Punch. The base card is Mellow Mambo and I stamped on Kraft (Soon to be Crumb Cake!) in whisper white craft ink - Got to love that white inkpad....

Don't forget the Polka Dot Ribbon is only available in the three colours until 30th September. The cardstock and inkpads are part of the Colour Renovation, so they will be in the NEW Catalogue.

I hope to be back later with some more things, after the packing is done for our Summer Holiday. The Ironing BASKET is Empty - I don't often see the bottom!

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Trendy Trees......

Yeah! It's stopped raining.....My boys are watching Cricket on the TV all day today - So you can Guess what I am doing. hee hee A Very Big smile on my face. That's what stamping does do you - There isn't a better hobbie and I love that its also now my JOB! Fancy that?

Right then, Another Stamp set with 20% off - Trendy Trees. I used Certainly Celery, Garden Green and Chocolate Chip. I first stamped the trees and then sponged a hill using the certainly celery inkpad.

The designer paper is Chocolate chip designer paper.

The belly band around the Pillow Gift Box is also Chocolate Chip Designer paper.
The two trees were punched out using the 1 3/4" circle punch and then I made a larger scallop circle by joining two together.
Hope you get to stamp today,
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Bird on a Branch.......

Finally! I got to play for the last couple of hours....

I can't believe how quickly this Summer is going. My Boys and I were only talking today about when we should go School Shoe Shopping!!!! It will be the last year I buy School uniform for my eldest - Don't even what to think about that!!! He will be Sixteen this year!

Anyway, I am working my way through the Two Step Stamp Sets that have 20% off this Month. What a fantastic Bargain - This is the Bird on a Branch stamp set ONLY 11.96

For the first card, I used Chocolate Chip, Kraft (Soon be be called Crumb Cake), Real Red and Whisper White. The Real Red Satin ribbon is in the Mini Catalogue.
The Christmas Wishes sentiment is from Old Fashioned Christmas stamp set, which was stamped in Chocolate Chip. The bird was stamped and cut out, then popped up with 3D foam pads.
I decided to make a similar card, but this time turn it on its side. I changed the Kraft (Soon to be Crumb Cake:-) for Garden Green cardstock. The sentiment on the banner is from the Basic Phrases stamp set.
Check back tomorrow for some more ideas....

Thanks for looking,

Jenny:-)

Back from London......

We have just been to THE London this weekend. Our Sister in Law came with us this time. We parked near Tower Bridge and walked along the Southbank to Borough Market. It has been reduced in size for the time being as a new Rail line was being installed. The Borough Market is a food market and is under the Railway arches near London Bridge. The main ingredient I go there for is 'Noirmoutier' Sea Salt. They do quite a few different mixes. We went to Noirmoutier in France one year and found the Sea Salt, then we went to the Borough Market about 6 years ago and found it there!!!! Small World.
We decided to do the Globe Theatre Tour as well, which is just abit further along the Southbank. It was finished in 1997. It truly is an amazing place. They were showing a couple of plays that day but they were full. This is the stage...
It's an Oak Framed Building in a Circle with a Thatched Roof. You can sort of see where the people sit in the stalls. People also stay right near the stage as well. The people who stood in this area used to be called the Penny Stinkers because they used to pay only a penny and they used to stink! Buckets for LOO's!

We then decided to go to Kew Gardens. This is just one of their Green Houses! The trees were amazing at Kew. The heavens opened up half away round so we only managed to do a tiny section.
One of the Exhibitions Kew has running this Summer is Creepers and Crawlies. They had the most amazing array of Beautiful Butterflies. They were all busy feeding on the flowers.
They looked like they were looking at you from the corner of their eyes.
Look at the size of this one! It's not a Butterfly its actually an Atlas Moth! Still Beautiful though...
The flowers were all so danity.
My hubbie has pinched my Craft Room to work in! What a cheek hee hee Maybe I might be able to get back in there tomorrow!

Greenhouse Garden......

Yeah! Finally made something in my getting there! Craft Room. I love the Greenhouse Garden stamp set, so I decided to play with that one first from the August Special - 20% off selected Two Step Stamp Sets - Wow!

This is a large stamp set. It has a great mixture of two step flowers. I went with Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, So Saffron and Soft Suede for my colour combination. I also mixed the Greenhouse Garden stamp set with Tiny Tags (also has 20% off) plus the background stamp set - French Filigree.
Lately I seem to think of Little and Large Gift Boxes! Not sure why?

I also used the sentiments from the Occasional Greeting stamp set, Pearls from the Pretties Kit and a hint of the Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon.......
I really like the daisy images, its lovely to decorate the insert of backgrounds.

Right a quick update on my Craft Room.....
It's getting there. Another table got delivered today, the table is now longer than this shown. I am going to need to get a new voice! To be able to reach the other end.....
This is going to be my New Library which needs some sorting I think? I need to find homes for all this mess.......
This is where I can make Drinks. The cupboard holds all my Big Shot Dies etc. I just had enough space for my Nesties to go beside. I can used this worktop for my Big Shot.......
Just starting to fill up the Display boards......
