Tree Trimmings Stamp Class

Sorry its been a week but we have been away to Cornwall for a short break as its half term here. We stayed near St Austell and Vegged out most of the time. I did sneak a couple of bags of craft bits to start doing some swaps for Convention NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!

How did that come around so quickley. I need another couple of weeks not days!!!

I managed to do 10 swaps, then my 3 Boys (Hubbie and two sons) started moaning, so I had to pack away. To be honest I've had a cough since last week and it has worn me out as I seem to start as soon as I lay down to go to sleep! Hope its gone before next week.

I have had lots of emails for the next lot of classes and I hope to get the butterfly one done later as well, but this is next Tuesdays stamp class - Tree Trimmings.

We make lots of chutneys and jams etc as we have had a brilliant year on the allotment. My hubbies onions are holding up!!!! Hee Hee It was chucking it down with rain on my launch party day and I was telling the ladies that my hubbie will be worrying about his onions!!! Well they have been checked on at least a couple of times and they have all broken ground and doing well....... We had some beauties this year and pickled onions and chutneys were made. So I always give some to family for christmas as its Home made presents all round this year.

What better way to show someone that you have thought about them than to give them something you have made. The box in the stamp class fits a Jar of chutney or Jam perfectly. Its quick and simple to make as well......

The set we are making on Tuesday is Garden Green and Real Red, but lots of colours work for christmas.

In class we will be making an old favourite of mine with a twist, An upside down Z fold card with the baubles 3D.

This is a normal Z fold card, I have made quiet a few of these in my time blogging, so you will have to look at earlier posts for all of them......Love the Style of these and how they sit on the mantle piece...

A very quick and simple version, the baubles in the Tree Trimmings set match the Merry Moments papers.

This is the other set in the Stamp Class instructions.

Krafty Bella Bleu Flight of a Butterfly......

I know.... I know! I can hear you all saying not more Butterflies. I can't help it. I am addicted to this set. I think I will have to hide it, so I can use some of the others!!!!

This project is for my Flight of a Butterfly stamp class on 10th November. I think the way the papers go with the kraft remind me of Laura Ashley fabrics. I used to make all my own curtains when I was first got married and I used to (even back then!) match them with the bed and lounge fabrics. The Bella Bleu papers just reminded me so much of them. My hubbie had horrid orange curtains and a pink! sofa when I first met him.....I needed sunglasses. He is colour blind so I think that was the problem! I just love things that match.
Another sample of the desk calendar, using the pretties kit.

The new Filigree brads are perfect for the drawer. See the pearl in the middle thats from the pretties kit as well.

I'm not sure yet which colourway we will be making but which ever one fits 6 cards and envelopes. What a lovely gift.

I sneaked in my favourite scallop circle punch again.....

Check back tomorrow for the Tree Trimmings Projects.
Hope you all have a lovely evening. Mine will be full of ironing! It has turned into a monster and is threatening to attack me if I don't do it. Plus my poor son went to school in slipper socks today!!! Not sure if he was just being lazy and grabbed the first pair or the ironing monster has eaten all the socks! We shall see. Hee He

Flight of a Butterfly Cards......

It was my Third Stampin Up Launch Party Today!

I can't believe its been nearly two years since I signed up with Stampin UP!

Cor! What a lovely turn out - A Big, Huge, Mega, Thank You to Each and Every one of you that could come. Do you know what - I only went and packed everything away without taking a photo! I will have to photo each set seperately and upload them individually.

These are the cards I made to go with the Desk Calendar. The colours are Taken with Teal, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant. The Stamp Set is Flight of a Butterfly and the punch makes this set so easy.
Another Easel Card - Love them! Can you tell? This one is also using Pocket Silhouettes and Oval All stamp sets.
This is a normall size card, ie half a piece of A4 cut lengthways. The Eyelet Border punch is so Pretty.......
The ribbon on this card is the new whisper white satin! Lush....

More tomorrow then, Off to Bed early as I did get up at 3.30am - Yes I am Mad! On Rubber Stamping.......

Flight of a Butterfly Desk Calendar

I've been playing with the Flight of a Butterfly stamp set as I have a Workshop tomorrow at Tracey's House - Wave! Hope I don't get lost again! Anyway I decided to CASE myself! He Hee and make another one of my Desk Calendars. The cardstock used is Elegant Eggplant, Taken with Teal and Old Olive plus Whisper white. The flowers were done with the Pocket Silhouettes.
In a LARGE stationery store they are selling the pens on the side of the calendar - 4for £1. They fit perfectly on the side of the Desk Calendar - Now I won't be looking for a pen near the phone! If you want to make a Desk Calendar, its the same measurements as the Autumn Days stamp class this week.

Anyway Must Dash! Back to the butterflies they are Delish and so easy to punch out.

Thanks for looking,

Jenny:-)xx

More Autumn Days

These are the other cards using the Baby Wipe Technique.....

I've near tried this technique before but I will definately be using it again. For those of you that don't know what I am talking about!

The Baby Wipe Technique is where you lay a couple of baby wipes in a tub and drop a few drops of different colour reinkers. Then use this as an ink pad!!! Great for leaves with all the Autumn colours around at the moment. Give it a Try! You only need a couple of drops of each colour, those reinkers go so far.

The reinkers are a great investment, You can reink your markers, colour ribbon, paint, baby wipe technique and of course keep your inkpads topped up!!!
The recessed window card base is Taken with Teal and the paper is from Spiced Cider.

This is another Easel Desk Drawer, without the calendar. Do you see how the colour is mixed on the leaves and the pheasant, this is the baby wipe technique.

This card is More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust and Old Olive. All the sentiments used is Sincere Salutations.

Hope you all have a good day,

Jenny:-)xx

Autumn Days.......

You can see why I had run out of Chocolate Chip cardstock! I love it, Hope Mr Brown in his UPS van comes quickley this week, or I will be having the shakes if not.

This is my stamp class for next Tuesday. We are making the Recessed Window and Easel cards in class but the instructions include everything. The Easel Desk Calendar is so lovely, I have made another one in Taken with Teal and I will show you that later.
The easel card, although it is 3D it folds down flat to post and even the pumpkin on it folds flat as well!

This is the Recessed Window card, which is similar to the Trendy Trees one. I was in trouble with my ladies last week as they all wanted to make one, so I though I better do one this week!

You can see the recess better at this angle.

A very simple card, the colours look just like the trees in the forest where we have just been for a walk this morning!
This is the Easel Desk Calendar. The instructions are all included in the class, to purchase the class click on the button on the right of this post.

Again this folds down flat as well for packaging. The little calendars are from a stationery shop.

I am busy getting some samples done for my Launch Party on the 20th October. So if you live near Dorset, Email me and I will give you all the details.
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Tree Trimmings

I bet make some more of these if they are going to reach people in time, Definately if the Postal Strike goes ahead! The stamp set if Tree Trimmings and the paper on the Shutter card is Merry Moments - My new stamp sets came yesterday - so you can guess what I was doing yesterday!!!!

The new papers are delish! The shutter card and Box envelope are the same as my Touch of Nature class.
The papers match Old Olive, Garden Green, Real Red and Chocolate Chip (which I have completely and I mean completely run out off - How did that happen?)
The sentiment is from the Season of Joy stamp set, which was punched out using the large oval and layered onto the scallop oval. So pleased these made it into the new catalogue.....
This is the smallest snowflake. I used the stamp a ma jig to position them all together like a star. Then I cut it out and popped up with 3D foam pads. The middle is a real red button with some cardstock tied for a knot. The paper used on this card is from the Christmas Jingle Scrappin kit.......Senitment is Basic Phrases.
The card is 10.5cm x 10.5cm square.

I have made some lovely cards in Taken with Teal but the weather was horrid here yesterday and I thought I was in the dark ages! the light wasn't good for the photo's, so they will have to wait until tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day, I'm off on a date with my hubbie,

Thanks for looking,

Jenny:-)xx

Trendy Trees.......

This is the Project for my Stamp Class tomorrow. I love making these smaller square cards and the Window Box is perfect to turn them into a Gift for someone.

The Stamp set is called Trendy Trees and the colours I used is Always Artichoke, Sage Shadow, Kraft and Whisper White. The stamp set is a two step one. The Stamp a Ma Jig is perfect for these sort of stamp sets. It allows you to position all the parts perfectly. Its one of those tools that once you start using, You don't know how you managed without it.

I normally upload my classes on a Sunday, but my eldest informed me that he hadn't finished all his homework. He had to do a 4 page leaftlet on an Ecosystem. This was 7pm last night!!!! He was so funny, He said his Dad would know all about it.....Well My Hubbie's face was a picture. After website after website, we finally found some information on the subject but it was 9pm before we finished! Hence I didn't get my Class finished. My lovely son then informed me this morning(just as he was going out the door, that he has a similiar one for English that he will need help with tonight!)........I am now wondering, Who is going to School?

Way back before Computers! We had to go to the Library to do our homework, but I had brought 4 huge revision books in the summer, just on Science alone and do you believe it, none of them had anything on the subject for that homework!

So I can guess what we will be doing tonight!

If you fancy make this Class, Click on the Link on the right.

Reminder: When I get confirmation of a purchase for a Stamp Class, I try and Email them to you ASAP, so if you don't receive them by the next day, Please Email me as something could have gone wrong ie It could have gone into a Spam Folder. So just Email me if you haven't received it by 24 hours. I will do it again for you.

Also to Clarify about Purchasing my Stamp Classes. These are mainly for inspiration, but if you would like to teach the Stamp Classes to your friends, You are very welcome to do so, but you must not Rewrite, Copy, Handout or Sell My Instructions. Please direct anyone who wants the Stamp Class Instructions back to me to purchase them. I really appreciate your co-operation with this.

These are the other examples, I managed to get done. I made two recessed window box cards, which I really enjoyed making.

Then I made a waterfall card. I haven't made one of these in such a long while, Look out ladies, I could be making a few more of these.
You can see the recess better in this photo. The papers are Spiced Cider and the cardstock is very vanilla. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip taffeta.

The trees in this one are Really Rust and Close to Cocoa. I pricked around the out side edges before popping up the middle section in the recessed window.

This is the water fall card. I love the circle tree top. I stamped them all in different colours, so when you pull the tab (made using the round tab punch) the trees change colour. Check back tomorrow for a different colour of the stamp class gift set, where I used buttons to decorate this tree top.

The stamp set comes with two sentiments.

Jenny:-)xx

Animal Stories Gift Bags & Blog Candy Moment.

October! I think its 12 weeks to Christmas.......Next Month is also Stampin Up! first European Convention......The New Catalogue goes Live this Afternoon as well.

I did a Mini Convention day last friday for some of my downline, I made everyone a little party bag to take home. I used the new stamp set Animal Stories and the papers are New called Tall Tales. The cardstock used is Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Brilliant Blue.....

I do believe it might have been the first time of using Brilliant Blue but it matches the tall tales paper with Rose Red as well.

Each had a little notepad, paperclip bookmark, a covered paper clip and a covered pen.

Must dash as my craft buddies are coming today and I have to clear up the craft room from my class last night. The ladies made the I wish flip album, Sid didn't help this time!
