Mini Catalogue Samples.........

Starting with Soft Summer. For a change I have been embossing.....

Since starting with Stampin Up! I haven't really felt the need to emboss but I wanted to try it with this flower. I used silver and gold Stampin Up Embossing Powder.
Still in a Yellow mood! This is Barely Banana, Sage Shadow and Close to Cocoa. I used Very Vanilla cardstock for the main image.
This one is using Regal Rose and some Sweet Alway paper. The oval nesties were used to cut out the main image. Circle of Friendship was also embossed in silver and punched out using the 1" circle punches. I pricked on the 1 1/4 circle. You can use the pricking mat from the Crafters Tool Kit to do this.
Back to Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla cardstock for this. I embossed the background with a cuttlebug embossing folder fantasy flourish.

Well just got back from the Vets. Sid had to have an X-Ray! The needle has gone alway through to his bowel and is waiting to come out!!! You all know in What.....

Rubber Gloves at the ready! How do I know this is going to be my Job.

We just hope it comes out straight and not sideways!

Hope you are not eating while you are reading this....Hee! Sorry.

Anyway back to Business...

EDITED TO SAY - THE NEEDLE AND THREAD IS OUT!

Loads of Love Stamp Class.....

Lots of Colouring IN today! Thats what my hubbie says when he goes off to work - COLOURING IN TODAY?

The stamp set is Loads of Love and we will also be using the Loads of Love Accessories stamp set as well.
This one also uses the Tailgating wheel. Lots of Doggies - Talking off Doggies - While I was out last night, my Doggie ate a sewing needle and thread!
This one is called a Tent Topper. The nesties used are the petite scallops ones. The papers on all the cards are Summer Picnic.
I've seen lots of cards on Splitcoast stampers with this Secret message and thought it would be a fun card to do with the girls.

The Round Tab works wonders for the Pull out Part.

Must Run Thanks for looking,

Jenny:-)xx

More Fresh Cuts.....

Back Again! With Normal sized cards this time....

Also instead of using the notelets, I cut them up and used just the front parts. Also I used pearls from the pretties kit for the centres.
The five petal punch was used behind the middle.
The ribbon is white taffeta and tied in bows for a change.
Can you see the Tags I made? Well I instead of throwing away the petals that pop out from the Fresh Cuts Note Cards, I added them to cardstock and cut them out. The centres are the new buttons and the silver cord is added and tied a bow.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Fresh Cuts - First Play......

Good Morning, This is the Fresh Cuts Stamp Set in the New Mini Catalogue. I couldn't make up my mind what colours to use first but in the end, I went with, Taken with Teal, Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and So Saffron. The Notecards are also available and they come with envelopes in a set of 15....

The five petal flower punch works brilliantly behind the cut outs. I used the square rhinestones from the Ice sets and the silver hodge podge was added over the sentiment.

Right on with trying to make a bag for these cards to go in....

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Peek a Boo Easter Wishes.....

Another Day of Piece Work! I have been making these cute little Peek a Boo Gifts for my Workshops next week. Can you see the Chocolate Bunnies inside - One for the Gift One for me!!! No Being good:-(

You can find the instructions on Splitcoaststampers site,

I took a A4 piece of Cardstock and cut it into 3 lengths 7cm wide and 9 1/4" long.

Along the 9 1/4" length Score at 3" 3 3/8", 6 3/8", 6 3/4". I used the Scallop Circle and the 1 3/8" for the frame on the inside and all the circle punches for the front. The Stamp set is Forest Friends.....

Cardstock is pretty in pink and bashful blue. I used the Wheel to decorate all the backgrounds. Boy was it quick with the cartridge....
This card was given to me by the Lovely Hayley. Thanks Hayley I love it. You can visit Hayley here.

Well off to finish the rest of my Peek a Boo Boxes,

Hope you have a nice weekend,

Forest Friends and Chocolate.......

What do you think of this Tree? Isn't it just gorgeous? Its from the Stamp Set called Forest Friends - Yes its in the Mini Catalogue. I have been making up tons of Make & Take packs today and I now have muscles in my wrists from using the Cutter all day!

But I just had to stamp as well. All 3 cards are Chocolate Chip....
The larger cards are 13cm x 13 cm Square and the little one is 10.5cm x 10.5cm square. The papers are the Designer Paper Series in Chocolate Chip and Old Olive. I must be dreaming about Oval Punches because I just can't stop using it. I dropped it in the Garden this morning and nearly cried as I didn't want it to be broken but it was alright. Phew!
A Bit Addictive Nature, I feel Hee! Hee! Could be doing worse things, Couldn't I? The Ovals in the middle are a mixture of Small and large nestability die Ovals. I popped up the owl with 3D foam pads.
A touch of Pretty in Pink was added to this one. I did a stay put knot, You can do this with your Crop a Dile. Punch a hole where you want to knot to be and thread the ribbon from the back of the card through the hole to the front. Leave a little piece and then wrap the rest of the ribbon around the back of the card, and all around the front and go back in the hole from the back. Cut off leaving enough to hold.

Split the ribbon either side of the ribbon wrapped around the card at the front and tie a knot. Its really great - Give it a go. You don't waste ribbon doing it this way as you can leave it on the roll until you have finished wrapping it around the card.

The Oval All Stamp set was used on this tiny card. I used the markers to colour in the tree. The square punch was added on two of the corners in the designer paper. I pricked around the outside layer and used the 1/2" circle punch to take out the corners.

Playful Petal Easter Baskets.....

As promised I am back with my Easter Baskets....

I brought this Template from Andrea Walford and only just got around in using it!

I used the Playful Petals Stamp Set with Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore and Whisper White Cardstock. You do need 12 x 12 cardstock for this project though! The paper is Rainbow Sherbert.

I used the sentiment from Occasional Greetings Stamp set and the Oval Punches. The white Gel pen was used to add the white dots in the scallops.
These are the chocolate eggs I brought for my buddies and thats where I got the colour inspiration from.

Thanks for looking,

Newbury Swaps.....

Phew! Just finished all my swaps for tonights Meeting at Newbury.....

I have used the Spring Solitude Stamp Set & Canvas Background Stamp. I saw a very similiar card over at Splitcoaststampers which was a 3 x 3 card so I based my card on that but mucked around with it a bit! You can see the card here.
I am glad I got these done as I have another little project I need to slip into today, If I finish it I will post it later,

The Curvy Verses was used on the insert of mine,

Petal Party Take Along Tote.....

Morning Everyone! This is the other project I have made to show at my Stamp Class today! I normally do some more cards in a different colourway, but the Petal Party Scrapbooking Kit is so cute, I decided to use up the other pieces that were left. Actually although I have used up all the paper, I still have lots of the textured cardstock and stickers left.

I brought this template ages ago from Papertrey. It is one of Lauren's Timeless Tempates. Pop over to Her Blog and say Hi! She isn't too well at the moment and it would be nice if you left a message......

The base card is Pink Passion, I don't use these two pinks nearly enough! Note to self Must use Pink Passion and Pixie Pink more......

I followed the measurements on the template and decided to add another pocket to the front. The papers are from the Petal Party Scrapbooking kit. I used Old Olive wide ribbon to close the tote. The NEW Large Oval was used for the handles...
You can see in this photo the two inside pockets, holding 6 Envelopes and 6 Cards. I decorated the pockets with the stickers that come with the Scrapbooking Kit.
These are the cards, 2 of each to make 6 cards. As its a Gift I made the Sentiments basic.

This is the Extra Front Pocket.

Petal Party Take along Tote......

This is the Note Book in the front pocket. I made it with the Bind it All ( That has been sitting in the cupboard since I brought it!!!)

The pen is from Staples and I rolled a strip of paper inside to pretty it up!
I added a little calendar in side the Note Book.
I kept the cards simple and with no stamping except the sentiment, Which is Oval All stamp set from the Mini Catalogue. The embossing is the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder.
The base card is Pixie Pink and the embossing folder is Bloom dots. These papers are so bright and cheerful - Don't you think? The sentiment is from Best Wishes & More, which match this Scrapbooking Kit perfectly....

The basecard is So Saffron and I trimmed off an inch, and embossed the insert just on the edge. Again the sentiment is from the Oval All Stamp Set and the Punches in the New Mini Catalogue........

Hope you have a good day,

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Best Wishes & More Stamp Class...

This is the project for Best Wishes & More Stamp Class.

The Stamp set actually matches the Petal Party Scrapbook Kit and thats where I got the colour combination from. The papers are beautiful and the cardstock is all textured. We made 3 cards this week and No 3D item, so back to the 3D part this week!

I brought a Bind it All last year and it was still in the pretty holder under my desk! I ordered some Coasters from Angie over at Chic and Craft, they came on Saturday. Does anyone know where to get them in the UK?

The sentiments are very nice in this Stamp Set and I started off by making a long diddie card complete with a lined envelope.
The base card is Pixie Pink and I used my Curved Rectangles Nesties to make the actual card. The flowers and leaves are cut out after stamping them on Whisper white and the sentiment was punched out using the New Oval and Scallop Oval Punches..... Available 1st April. I am doing FREE Shipping for Orders over £45 so get in FAST before I change my mind! Hee!
This is the Notebook, which is made from 2 covered coasters. Do you see the delicious So Saffron ribbon?

It comes in Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue as well? Oh My!

Must get on with my bookwork today, so no more goodies to show you today. I made another Christmas Card yesterday, by mistake really, It was meant to be a boys card and I got carried away with it.....I will show you tomorrow.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Petal Pizzazz........

Wow! These flowers are great for cutting out..... Petal Pizzazz stamp set is in the New Mini Catalogue. One of the flowers (the middle one stamped in So Saffron) can be punched out using the Scallop Circle Punch - How Easy is that?

I took the colours from the Washington Apples papers, also in the Mini! Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron (Again!), Old Olive (Sorry Sue!) and Whisper White.

I saw a cute basket over at Jennifers Sweet Design's Blog and just run out and quickley made one. Pop over and Check the Blog yourself.....
The basecard is Ruby Red. Then a layer of So Saffron, then Washington Apple layer with a couple of So Saffron Brads - Rich Regal Set of Brads. I was going to make the card up the other way but when I started putting it together, I think it looks better taller. I stamped the flowers on Whisper White. The large flower was inked up in Pumpkin Pie and I used the dauber in Ruby Red to ink up around the rubber, then stamped it on Whisper White. The middle flower is So Saffron punched out using the Scallop Circle Punch. The last flower is Ruby Red and I added a Rhinestone for a Bling in the centre!

The Sentiment is from the Oval All Stamp set and I used the large Oval and Scallop Oval to punch them both out.
I used all the same colours for the basket. For this photo I added some Easter Chocolates inside but it could be a lovely way of dressing up any Gift that would fit. Its surprising just how big the Basket really is in Real....
Have you seen the tiny Lindt Bunnies? So Cute. Pop over to Maria's blog for a Cute little Bunny Box.

Must Run, House is Empty today so getting lots of jobs done! Well! Stamping actually Hee!

Jenny:-)xx

Soft Summer.....

The Sun is out here which is probably why I reached for this Stamp set again! Soft Summer... I hope my Mum isn't reading this post before Sunday:-)
This is for My Mum and I will be doing the same for Mum in Law as well. For this card I made a sort of double Gate fold. I attached 2 cards together, like in the Criss Cross Cards and scored the front sections in half. Its very stable and stands up lovely.

I used the New Scallop Oval and Large Oval Punches from the Mini Catalogue to hold back the middle section. The sentiment is from A Beautiful Thing Stamp Set.

I stamped the Soft Summer Flowers in Black Stazon on Whisper White and coloured them in with my SU Marker Pens. I used Barely Banana, So Saffron, Close to Cocoa and Old Olive markers. I cut them out and added a couple of extra flowers. Pop over to the Beates Blog, thats where I got the idea of scoring the square layer.
The base cardstock is Ruby Red and So Saffron card with So Saffron Designer Paper.
For the inside I added some more paper and stamped the Happy Mothers Day from Occasional Greetings Stamp Set.

My Mum is a lovely Lady and I feel so blessed to say she is My MUM......She is a really hard worker and I appreciate all she does for Me and My Family. Mum will be 60 at the beginning of April so on to the Next Card!

Baroque Motifs Stamp Class.....

What NO Boxes! I thought I would give my ladies a break from Boxes this week - Bless them. I have given them a few bits to cut out instead - I know they LOVE doing that - Especially Mary! :-)

The Stamp Set is Baroque Motifs. The cardstock is Rose Red, Mellow Moss and Very Vanilla. There is a Criss Cross Card which is so simple to do, once you decide whether you want to make a tall one or long one as this one is.
The Belly Band around the middle is textured cardstock, cut from 12 x 12 cardstock and it just fits. The join is covered by the cut out images.
The Baroque swirl is a beautiful stamp and there are tons of ways to make full use of it. The Round Tab Punch is used so you can pull out the insert.
No Designer papers were used on this card. The labels nesties work really well on the Square cards. They have lots of new sets on Once Upon a Stamp Website.
This is a very Quick and Easy Christmas Card, which you could makes lots of all in one go.

There you go TWO Christmas Cards ready for this Year! I will be organised this YEAR!

Jenny:-)xx
